Enrichment and Desorption Unit

EDU is a thermal desorption and enrichment unit, utilised for air analysis or laboratory sample preparation.

The instrument enables the concentration or selection of specific substances for subsequent analysis.

Desired analysis parameters, selectivity, and sensitivity can be configured using the supplied software. Furthermore, collection and desorption can be adjusted by selecting the appropriate adsorbent material. This allows for an enrichment factor of between 10 and 1,000.

EDU can be connected to various analytical systems, including PEN3, laboratory GC, micro-GC, mass spectrometers, and headspace samplers.
