On the occasion of its twenty-fifth anniversary, PCA Technologies chose the prestigious setting of Palazzo Castiglioni, headquarters of AICE (Italian Foreign Trade Association) in Milan, to celebrate a fundamental milestone and outline the guidelines for the environmental monitoring of tomorrow. The event brought together industry experts, institutional partners, and academics to discuss the evolution of sensory technologies and their practical application in the real world.
The proceedings were opened by Franco Aprile (President of AICE Poland, of which PCA Technologies is a member), followed by a speech by founder Fernando Crivelli, who retraced the stages that have made PCA a benchmark in gas and odor analysis. The baton was then passed to Mattia Crivelli, General Manager, who outlined the company’s future vision: monitoring that is increasingly intelligent, integrated, and oriented toward global sustainability.

The central session, moderated by Gaia Veronesi, Marketing Specialist at PCA Technologies, highlighted how PCA Technologies’ solutions concretely impact several key sectors through excellence case studies:
- Scientific Research: The collaboration with the University of Milan—thanks to the contribution of Susanna Buratti (University of Milan, Department of Food, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences)—highlighted the role of sensor technology in the field of food and nutritional sciences.
- Infrastructure and Networks: Presentations by Lorenzo Todeschini from Metropolitana Milanese Spa and Paolo Campolmi from Impresind Srl showed the effectiveness of electronic noses in managing water and industrial services.
- Environment and Logistics: Testimonials from Stefano Valle (SEA-S, Savona) and Ivan Allevi (Allix Srl) confirmed the importance of continuous monitoring for territorial protection and the optimization of ecological processes.
